About the ClarityFirst Logo, 'Crystal Ring'
The brilliant graphic, 'Crystal Ring,' that ClarityFirst is fortunate enough to employ as a logo, was created by a friend in the south of England, whom we've yet to meet or speak to in person. His name is Jonathan Rowson.
Jon was generous in allowing the use of his work, after ClarityFirst President Rick Alaska first "discovered it" and inquired via e-mail, after a 'Google' image search. In his day job, Jonathan works as a research scientist applying artificial intelligence to developing technologies. Outside of this work, Jonathan takes a great pleasure in using graphics software such as Bryce and Terragen to create images such as the logo used for ClarityFirst.
He uses Bryce as he finds the interface intuitive to use, allowing him to quickly set up scenes, camera angles and lighting. Terragen is used to create photographic landscape pictures, as it can render stunningly realistic scenes, with excellent tools to control the lighting and atmosphere effects. Jonathan graduated from the University of Hertfordshire with a 2:1 BSc (Hons) in Cognitive Science. He is also looking to take his graphic work further, possibly including photography to complement his Terragen work."
